Eventually the need to teach and be taught will come to an end. Worship, however, is an eternal endeavor. It is the very oxygen of heaven and should be the atmosphere of every believer's life. Worship is not something we do as a "warm up" for the preaching. It is the meaningful expression of the overflow of God's love and affection in and through the Christian's soul. Those who are perishing need to hear the proclamation of the Gospel. Believers, however, need to proclaim the praises of Him who has called us out of darkness into His marvelous light. Years ago I came to understand that my gift to teach is secondary to my need to become a true worshiper of God.
Since I was a teenager I have been composing worship songs. Although I shared them freely with our local church, they were never disseminated widely. In the last year or so, however, I have felt led to begin recording worship music. I hope to make them available soon and churches will have my full permission to sing them in their services without paying me royalties. Freely I have received, freely I give.
When you invite us to minister at your church, conference, or home meeting we come not only to teach and share what God has shown us, but also to worship together with you.
